The Common Word is indeed an important step forward in Muslim-Christian Relationships. My primary problem is that I believe that cooperation is best based on understanding our differences, not papering over our differences. As long as Muslims and Christians fail to understand the differences in the way they understand Who GOD is, and why they understand Who GOD is differently, it will be very hard to work together as the one people of GOD who we are.
